Ann and Diane have cleared brambles and nettles from around bench 3 and have coated it with wood preserver any offers of help to do the other 5 plus the bridge’ please let us know if you have a couple of hours to spare. All preserver will be provided.
It has been drawn to our attention that various ducks and birds have been found dead around the lake. If anyone sees anything suspicious can they please contact the committee
The last working party for Cofton Lake will be on Sunday, 29th October. Volunteers are invited to join the group at 9:30am in the car park. Many thanks!
Thanks to all who turned up today for the working party and especial thanks to the fishing club and members who helped to install the bench for Richard James. His two boys and family are coming to the lake on Sunday 2nd July at 1.00 to scatter his ashes around the lake as Cofton Lake was such an important place for Richard.
May we draw your attention to the fact that it has been reported that a dog in the Reservoir Road area is being left out all night in the lake area and is barking and keeping people awake. Can you please make sure the rules re dogs is adhered to.
No dogs allowed in the lake area without their owners and always on a lead.
