Teenagers fall into the lake

risk-of-drowning

6 Teenagers were riding bikes around the lake yesterday. They ended up in the water. They were on their own and not accompanied by an adult. They were shouting and making a complete nuisance of themselves. Eventually a fisherman told them they were not allowed in the lake area. And they eventually left. We realise that while lockdown is on there are more people walking round the lake especially now whilst we have this good weather.

Can you, when walking round look out for anyone breaking the rules. If you do see children without an adult please get in touch with one of the committee members.

Police picture

6 or 7 youths were spotted in the lake area on Sunday swimming and making a nuisance of themselves. They were here again tonight. The police have been informed. Everyone needs to be on the look out. It appears they are coming up via the sluice.
